The young musician chose a Lenny Kravitz hit for his impressive performance during Night 6 of AGT auditions.<\/p>\n

Did\u00a0AGT<\/em>\u00a0just snag a prodigy? 10-year-old Bay Melnick Virgolino may be shorter than the electric guitar he plays, but when he took the stage for\u00a0America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>, he did what he came there to do. \u201cI was 5 years old, and I was obsessed with [Guns n Roses guitarist] Slash,\u201d the New Yorker explained. \u201cI wanted to learn how to play, so I asked my mom for lessons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom and my dad, they\u2019re my biggest supporters, they\u2019re kind of like\u2026they\u2019re my roadies,\u201d Bay joked before launching into an expert cover of\u00a0Lenny Kravitz\u2019s \u201cAre You Gonna Go My Way.\u201d To say the kid can play would be putting it mildly. He performed the song flawlessly and didn\u2019t seem to be breaking a sweat, singing along and getting the whole audience hyped. It would have been a stellar performance from anyone, but from a child it was all the more impressive.<\/p>\n

For Judge\u00a0Simon Cowell, Bay\u2019s interest in music at a young age reminded him of his son\u00a0Eric, who had a cameo on\u00a0AGT<\/em>\u00a0in the same episode. \u201cI really can kind of relate. My son Eric has just learned how to play drums. It must be the best feeling in the world for you and your mum and dad right now to be there after that because you\u2019re so good. And you\u2019re having the best time you\u2019ve ever had,\u201d Cowell said. After a quick count, the young rocker got four yeses and headed backstage to his parents and Host\u00a0Terry Crews, who said he\u2019d soon be seen my millions of people, a prospect that seemed to blow the kid\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n
